UrbanForm is now an award winning company

Writer: Quang TruongQuang Truong

Last week, UrbanForm was given an award by the Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments for the work in digitizing the zoning codes and maps across eleven (11) different jurisdictions in Oregon.

This work involved cooperation and coordination across not only the staff and leaders of those cities, but was also driven by the Missing Middle Housing Fund, SEDCOR, the Newberg Workforce Housing Consortium, the State of Oregon, and various other public and private entities.

It was truly a cross-disciplinary, cross-regional project.

We are so pleased to be able to introduce UrbanForm Yamhill as of today--which is up and live, even as QA and product iteration is ongoing with all jurisdictions. We are making the final adjustments, tweaks, modifications, and clarifications with the enthusiastic collaboration and coordination of the jurisdictions that UrbanForm Yamhill serves.

UrbanForm was founded because we saw a need for a better bridge between the work of our planners, architects, municipalities, and real estate developers.

To facilitate collective efforts towards a better built environment for us all.

And we knew that technology had the power to help build that bridge.

So we're excited that this project represents that better bridge. To provide even greater confidence and clarity with zoning.

This is what cross disciplinary collaboration and cooperation looks like, and we're excited to continue this work with our ongoing partners, customers, and teams.

There were many who were involved, and off the top of my head, I can give shout outs to Nathan WildfireAmy Snyder, Abisha Stone, Scott DadsonMcRae CarmichaelErik AnderssonNaureen KhanKip Morris M.OLPBranden Dross, MPANathan FrarckRochelle RoadenHilary MalcomsonHeather RichardsClay Downing, AICPLeanne Wagener, APA, Jeremy Caudle, Curt Fisher, AICPEvan Hietpas, Andrew Castro, Shannon BeaucaireShelley Reimer, Julie Brandao, Christy MartinezJeff Gaus, Peter Clarke, Charles Voloshin, Doug RuxDave Rucklos, Rachel King, Linda W., Cale George, Marianne Thomson, Bridget Meneley, Yvette Potter, Michelle Long, Vickie Hernandez, Aimee Amerson, Scott Whyte, Shea Corrigan, and Mayor Bill Rosacker.
